TDR Updates - External Systems
This page provides information on changes made to external systems affecting the
calorimeter trigger design after submission of the TDR. Information on changes to TDR Algorithms and Technologies

|Signals were received and converted to ET in Preprocessor line receivers.

|FCAL modularity was 32 in phi by 2 in eta, summed over e.m. and hadronic,
for each endcap. The total number of signals was therefore 128.
||Modularity is now 16 in phi by 4 in eta for each endcap. There are no
Tower Builder cards. E.M. and hadronic signals are not summed. Hadronic signals are
divided in depth between FCAL2 and FCAL3; these are summed in the Receiver Stations. Thus
the total number of FCAL signals is now 384 into the Receiver Stations and 256 into the
Preprocessor. After summing into pseudo-jet elements in the Preprocessor, the number of
signals to the Jet/Energy-sum Processor is 16 in phi by 1 in eta, with e.m. and hadronic
separate, for each endcap. The total number of elements is therefore 64.
