The mechatronics for EE will not be identical but will use the same principles and re-use as many of the designs as possible. In the attached zip file you will find pdf files for the drawings, and an excel file which lists them all with their titles. I have also included the hpgl files (type is *.plt) in case you are able to use the hpgl viewer or plot them directly. The list also tells what size the drawing was originally - especially for A0 files the pdf is rather small and hard to read at A4 size! The set of drawings has a nested structure. The assembly drawing, number 204 is a good place to start, and number 221 is also an assembly drawing. In each case the assembly drawing includes a list of other drawings and shows how the parts fit together. Number 192 is the famous "cooling bar" which is made by casting a stainless steel pipe (drawing 191) in aluminium. Our friend D'Yakov may be interested in this - although the Italians already have samples made and MAY provide a good price or may even provide them free to EE once they realise we are looking elsewhere. It is likely that the EE cooling bar will be similar or even identical, perhaps with a variant only 3/4 of the length. Drawing 217 shows one component of which we will need large numbers (one per VFE card, about 3000 total) and which is likely to be very similar for EE to what you see here. With the drawings that John and Brian send, and the ones you can get from Andre, I think that is about the best we can do for the time being. I am hoping to send something to Abramov before I go on leave for one week at the end of today. Best Regards, Justin. <>
