The large numbers on the plots give the fibre number from the level 2 diffusers (the diffusers which sit upstream of the level 1 diffusers which serve the crystals). On the 'current scheme' I have placed the numbers to the best of my knowledge since I don’t have a look up map. On EE there are 4 level 2 diffusers, served by 4 fibres from the laser barrack, per Dee. Each level 2 diffuser has a total of only 7 output fibres. The proposed scheme looks possible from a fibre count and seeks to maintain groupings radially, as far as possible, for uniformity of irradiation by group. Comments welcome, Dave.
