Dear Christophe,
attached is a request to use a foam to thermally insulate part of the CMS ECAL Endcap detector, in the 'Outer Environmental Screen' or OES.

Could you advise whether we, through you, need to get TIS approval? If so, what more information would you need?

Many thanks,
Dave Cockerill
ps
For the use of the polyethylene moderator, which we discussed last year, I will send you an update with new info as soon as possible.

Both,

Is this the kind of thing we need for the OES? Formally, Martin was responsible for TIS approvals - is this still so and should he be submitting this?

Cheers - Justin.
