Computing and Networking Advisory Panel
(CNAP)

Introduction

The role of the Computing and Networking Advisory Panel is to monitor and review the provision of computing and networking in the UK for particle physics and astronomy research.  Although it no longer manages any of the computing resources concerned, it continues to play a key advisory role within PPARC.  It discusses computing issues across the whole of PPARC science, concentrating on strategic and policy issues. CNAP reports to the Science Committee of PPARC through the e-Science director.

The primary aim of this web is to disseminate information arising from the work of this Panel to the wider particle physics and astronomy communities within the UK.
