RAL_PPD/Southampton_THEORY Collaboration
Chris Sachrajda (Southampton) and Ken Peach (RAL) have both given the green light for the RAL_PPD Experimental and the Southampton Theory Departments to form a close liaison. The Southampton Group visited RAL on 15th June. Chris gave an excellent talk on "CP-Violation and the Extraction of the CKM Parameters". This was followed by an introduction by Ken Peach on the idea of a liaison now that RAL_PPD had lost it Theory Group. Experimentalists and Theorists present then introduced themselves indicating the areas of Physics they were interested in. From the names and interests listed below (RAL in blue) it is clear there is enough of a match between theory and experiment for a mutually fruitful working relationship between the two Groups.
