B → hh Physics Activities at RAL

The LHCb RAL group is currently working on the effect of misalignments of the tracking detectors on the Physics performance of the B → hh decay channels.

This study is subdivided into various aspects:
• The direct effect of VELO/IT/OT Misalignments into the tracking and selection efficiency.
• The estimation of possible variations of the Background over Signal ratio.
• The effect of misalignments on the resolution on the CP asymmetries and on the resolution on the Unitarity Triangle angle γ.
