DESY is the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg. The laboratoryperforms basic research in high-energy and particle physics as well as in theproduction and application of synchrotron radiation. The laboratory haslocations in Hamburg and Zeuthen, Germany. It is home to the HERA experiment.
