EVENT GENERATORS FOR THE LINEAR COLLIDER
Aims
The main aim of the working group on event generators and standard processes
is to ensure systematic coverage of all physics processes necessary for
the planning of a linear collider. Specifically, we should ensure that for
every important physics process there exists at least one generator in a
form that can be used by experimenters and interfaced to standard
input and output formats. For key processes, we should ensure there are
at least two comparable programs, and assess the quality of their physics
description.
